ABOUT
Welcome to Cordwainer Cottage, a cosy stone built cottage on the outskirts of Bagnall, a pretty Staffordshire Moorlands village. Situated in the grounds of Stoney Villa Farm, the cottage offers an ideal rural break close to the Staffordshire Potteries, Alton Towers and the Peak District National Park.
OUR COTTAGE
Our cottage is perfect for a couple or single visitor looking for a rural retreat. It features a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and a bathroom.
Minimum stay three nights.
SERVICES
Welcome tray including tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits
The bijou kitchen has every amenity - fridge with freezer compartment, a full-sized electric cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils and crockery.
Relaxing indoors
The lounge/dining room has fitted carpet, TV , DVD and radio. Remote location, so no Wi-Fi but mobile data works fine. There is a large leather settee and an upright armchair available for persons with back problems.

Local information and maps also available.
Fresh linen and towels
All bed linen, cutlery, crockery and necessary utensils are provided. Hand and bath towels are also provided. Iron and ironing board available on request
Enjoying the fresh air
A picnic table is available on an adjacent lawned area enjoying extensive views over the surrounding countryside.
Covered storage available for bicycles.

Accessibility & Safety
On one level with just one 10" (25cm) step to negotiate.
External door is 36" (91cm) wide.
All internal doors are of standard width 33" (84cm) with levered handles.
The shower room with pedestal basin, toilet and shower cubicle. The square shower tray has a step to negotiate approx 11" (28cm) in height. The floor covering is non-slip.
The bedroom has one window for use as a fire escape. NB: the height of the window sill from the bedroom floor is 19" (48cm) and the fire escape window is 32" (81cm) square.
The bedroom is on the ground floor, but is not recommended for anyone needing to use a walking frame.
